Amish Mafia star

Lebanon Levi will return to Lebanon County on Friday.

And like his last visit to the county, the alleged kingpin of the Discovery Channel "reality" show "Amish Mafia" will help raise money for charity, not shakedown a business.

Lebanon Levi, who is portrayed by Richland resident Levi King Stoltzfus, will be at the Pineapple Closet in the Myerstown Farmers Market from 5 to 8 p.m.

He will offer autographed pictures for $5 each. Two autographed portraits of Lebanon Levi painted by local artist Brittney Hernley will be auctioned off to the highest bidder.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Newmanstown, Myerstown and Richland's Neptune fire companies.

Food will be available in the Farmer's Market, and the flea market will be open.

Hernley will also have other pieces of her artwork displayed. The Pineapple Closet will be open also, offering primitives, antiques and locally made crafts.

Other vendors will be set up in the front of the building.

On the show, Lebanon Levi is the leader of a group that allegedly keeps peace in Lancaster County's Amish community, without calling in police or outside authority. According to his biography on the show's website, he "is the protector, the judge, and the jury in theAmish community. He calls the shots for his crew of Amish and Mennonite soldiers."
In March, more than 300 fans turned out to see Lebanon Levi at a fundraiser at Matthews Public Library in Fredericksburg.

A crew from the show was filming during Lebanon Levi's Fredericksburg appearance, but it is not known if the footage will appear in Amish Mafia's second season, which is scheduled to begin airing in August.

What is known about the second season is that Lebanon Levi will have a new henchman, and that new henchman has a substantial criminal record (in real life).

According to Lancaster Newspapers, Lancaster County resident Caleb Isaac Meyer will be the newest member of Levi's crew. Meyer, known on the show simply as "Caleb," had a small part on the Season One finale.

Citing another cast member, Lancaster Newspapers reported that his role will be expanded next season.

Myer served four different prison stints since 2008 and was just released last week from his latest sentence, according to Lancaster Newspapers. Meyer's most serious offense was a hit-and-run crash in 2007, when he fled the scene after smashing into a horse-drawn buggy.

He has also served time for fleeing from police and DUI, the paper reports.
