Talk about that new mom glow! In just released photos of the royal family in the garden of the Middleton home in Bucklebury, Kate Middleton proves she makes for one stunning and oh-so-stylish new mom. Though we finally get another look at the adorable Prince George in the new family portrait that includes Prince William, we have to admit we were a bit distracted by how remarkably picture perfect the royal baby's mom looks, especially considering she only gave birth less than a month ago
Looking effortlessly striking in a fab fuchsia Séraphine dress, Middleton cradles the royal baby, who is swaddled in a crocheted white blanket. And in a move we're sure the queen would approve of, the Duchess of Cambridge layers a black camisole under the feminine frock to offset its plunging neckline.
The vivid purple color is a fitting choice—the hue is associated with royalty, after all!—as is the frock's empire-waist detailing, which is perfect for chicly camouflaging a post-baby bump.
In true Middleton style, the ravishing royal, who has been known to reach for affordable high street fashions from the likes of Topshop and Zara, opted for the wallet-friendly Seraphine frock, which retails for $79, for her debut family portrait.
And if the dress looks familiar, that's because it's the same style as the Séraphine knot-front dress the new mom wore for her second outing after giving birth to her son. The maternity brand's sales reportedly skyrocketed by 40 percent following Middleton's public appearance in it's pretty printed dress, and there was a month-long waitlist for the clothing item just a few days after she stepped out in it.
