What does the youth have to say? In the midst of all this hullabaloo, where does the youth stand? Do they feel something about anything at all? What are their feelings and thoughts about what's happening in the world? This blog is about me as a young individual wanting to share my two cent's worth. I am young. And this is my language.

Family Dollar murders
The Family Dollar murders in Dearborn Michigan have a suspect who was arraigned in court this week. The man charged with the Family Dollar murders is Lavere Bryant, who is a man with an extensive rap sheet, and who once worked in the same Family Dollar Store with Joe Orlando and Brenna Machus, who he is accused of murdering, according to Fox News on July 24, 2013.
Police report that on the night of July 16, the 34-year-old was in the Family Dollar Store where he formerly worked and shot and killed Orlando in the bathroom. He robbed the store and abducted Machus. He eventually killed her and dumped her body in a field less than a mile away from the Family Dollar Store.
It was confirmed by the Family Dollar Store that Bryant was fired last spring, but no reasons were given for his work demise. Family Dollar would not comment on how a man with such an extensive and violent police record, including being a registered sex offender, was hired in their store in the first place.
According to police records, Bryant broke into a home in 1999 and sexually assaulted a woman, only serving a year for that crime. He picked up a prostitute and stabbed her in the neck in 2001. He was convicted of assault to commit great bodily harm less than murder for that crime. He was a problem inmate and was never granted parole, serving his maximum sentence. He was released in 2011.
Bryant was taken into custody while at a carwash. Police said he was trying to get rid of evidence in the Dollar Store murders while at this car wash. Police held him for not registering with the sex offender registry until the investigation of the Dollar Store murders were complete.
Wednesday Bryant was charged with two counts of first-degree murder, armed robbery and unlawful imprisonment. He is due back in court on July 31. He is held without bond.
