Apple released its operating system update at around 18.00 GMT yesterday. However, thousands of Apple customers immediately took to social media complaining that they were unable to download the software.
In many cases, users reported that the update stopped half way through and they were met with an error message saying: "Software Update Failed." Others said they could connect to the iTunes Store to update apps.
