Dunkin Donuts blackface

This isn't very nice... indeed they're being insensitive about this particular commercial. It looks like they really didn't mean to be racist but yeah, wrong move guys.

Dunkin' Donuts is apologizing after one of their advertising campaigns was called "racist." The ads, which were seen in Thailand but not the Unites States, feature a woman in blackface makeup, promoting their "charcoal donut."

After the ad was deemed "bizarre and racist" by the group Human Rights Watch, the company's chief executive in Taiwan defended the campaign, Fox News reports. Nadim Salhana called the controversy "paranoid American thinking." "We're not allowed to use black to promote our doughnuts?" he asked in an interview. He also wonders if painting someone white would raise the same criticism. "Not everybody in the world is paranoid about racism," he said.

It didn't take long before the company's U.S. office jumped in to apologize, tweeting, "We are working with our Thailand franchisee to immediately pull the ad. DD recognizes the insensitivity of this spot."
